Mohammed Fares Al Majdalawi is a filmmaker , freelance Journalist and a Peace Activist .Through his work, films, and social media, Mohammed advocates the Palestinian Cause and demonstrates the reality of life in Gaza. He was a Coach in 2006 with the Popular Achievement Program implemented by American Friends Services Committees (AFSC). Mohammed worked with Avaaz as a video Reports maker residing in the Gaza Strip. He also presented films in a number of international film festivals where they have received very positive feedback from audiences and from other film-makers. In addition to that, work with young people, especially those living in the border areas of Gaza has been a priority to Moahmmed. Al Majdalawi did a great deal of voluntary work too, with international and local NGOs in Gaza like the American Friends Service Committee (AFSC), LifeSource, the Middle East Children’s Alliance (MECA), Union Of Health Work Committees, and International Solidarity Movements. Mohammed graduated from Al Azhar University with a bachelor degree in English, Faculty of Education.
