I am an ex-Park Ranger of 30 years who has become an avid videographer, photographer and naturalist. I edit video with Adobe Premiere 6.5 and Edius 5, color correct with Vixen and author to DVD format with DVD Lab-Pro. All my DVD projects are professionally mastered and replicated to the highest DVD specifications. I created Nature Flixs as an avenue to showcase my works. Cameras used are Panasonic DVC30 and HPX170.

    Nolan, thanks for the compliment. It was filmed at 1080i and 100mbs. I used a modified "spark" scene file setting and did minor color correction.

    David, very nice camera work. I don't speak the language so I can't comment about the narration. Really like your "slider/dolly" moves. I have the HPX 170 and really like it for the "organic" look and how it handels color. The only thing I found a little distracting was the shot of the grain at 00:30. IMO it didn't mesh well with the smoothness of your other camera moves. Otherwise I enjoyed it.
