I am unreasonably passionate about circus and sideshow culture. Initially, this manifested itself as a website, HeyRubeCircus.com. Slowly, however, this infatuation segued into performance and I am now a fire eater and fire spinner, and occasionally enjoy a good bed of nails under the stage name of Ballyhoo Betty. My other hobbies include bicycle activism, cooking and anything that satiates my inner adrenaline junkie. I also strongly subscribe to the idea that anything can be made better with fire.
