ASYLUM is a Melbourne based Music Television Program that focuses on Australian Music, giving exposure to Independent Australian Artists, Nationally & Internationally since 2000.
ASYLUM is NOT funded with NO Sponsors, NOR Memberships. We offer FREE AIR TIME Promotion, HOWEVER, we HAD TO INTRODUCE a MINIMUL STANDARD FEE which HELPS toward production and other RELATED COSTS

ASYLUM TV TEAM Members are active or past Musicians who have participated in the entertainment world for many years
ASYLUM has Supported Benefits Concerts such as Hep C, Heart Foundation, Cancer, Floods & others and has interviewed, filmed and promoted "Thousands" of Bands, Artists, Musicians from SHOW No.1 in 2000, Nationally & Internationally.
ASYLUM Celebrated the 400th Show in March 2010 which aired on 23rd March 2010 with The ASYLUM Team and Various Artists Filmed Live over the 10 Years.
Asylum has also produced DVDs for Rock Legends Ross Wilson, Glenn Shorrock recently, Jon Stevens Noiseworks and many others in the past.

You can send your Film Clips on a DVD -R or Mini DV - in 16.9 (widescreen) - a DVD which can be played on a normal DVD player - Not Compressed (AVI - Uncompressed). Please do not send an mp4 (Compressed) File. If submitted on a +R dvd and / or compressed, you will be asked to re-submit UNcompressed and / or on a -R - Data disc is OK
- WE do NOT accept quicktime - ftp transfers - footage by e-mail - MPEG - Beta Cam - HDV - ANY Footage that's compressed - MUST BE UNcompressed ie. NOT compressed TOGETHER WITH YOUR CD and/or Giveaways (Giveaways such as Albums, T-Shirts, caps, etc. are OPTIONAL).
INTERNATIONAL Bands:- We do not accept NTSC Format - MUST be in PAL Format - Australian Standard as per details above

**SINGERS / SONGWRITERS :- Musicians/Artists are offered an ACOUSTIC Act (2 Songs) and Interview at our Asylum Home Studio *ACOUSTIC GUITAR OK, A SNARE DRUM WITH BRUSHES OK, A CONGA OR ANY PERCUSSION INSTRUMENTS, BACKING TRACKS OK
Initial contact by e-mail will discuss a day & time suitable for the Musicians/Artists, us & the Presenter. Once we have decided on a date & time, the Interview and/or
Acoustic Act will be booked in, however, it will not be locked in until the standard fee & all required is received. Once we have received the fee, film clip, and Album & Bio, the date is Locked in.
You will, then receive all other details including Location Address. If you wish to be part of the Giveaways Segment, any of the Giveaways can be given to us on the day.
THE ASYLUM FILMING/TV COVERAGE PERFORMANCE RELEASE AGREEMENT FORM MUST BE SIGNED BY ALL ARTISTS/MUSICIANS/BAND MEMBER MANAGER
(A Band Member who plays in the Band and is the Manager of that Band - NOT an independent Person, NOR their *MANAGEMENT) ON THE DAY BEFORE THEIR PERFORMANCE.
You will receive a copy of the edited footage on a DVD. This will not happen until it has gone to air and depending on the priority schedule. Allow up to 3 weeks.
ASYLUM SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
By submitting your music video clip for consideration of airplay on Asylum you automatically give permission to record it onto the program and broadcast it.
PLEASE NOTE that we do NOT post back video clips. Video Clips and CD are kept in our Library and remain the property of Asylum.
We will try and notify you in advance, if possible, of when your clip will appear on Asylum, but can make no guarantees.
Submission of material does not necessarily guarantee exposure on Asylum.
The Producers reserve the right not to include the video on Asylum for whatever reason.
