Lindsay MacKay is a Canadian writer/director living in Los Angeles. Her most recent ﬁlm, CLEAR BLUE, her thesis film from The American Film institute, is currently on the festival circuit, having already been selected to screen at Camerimage, SXSW, AFI Fest, and Palm Springs International ShortsFest, amongst others and is the recipient of a College Television Award (aka Student Emmy). While at AFI Lindsay was awarded the prestigious Franklin J. Schaffner Fellow Award, Richard P. Rogers Spirit of Excellence Award and Mary Pickford Endowment for academic achievement and acknowledgment of her talent as a director. Lindsay is currently developing two features WET BUM, which was named a Top 10 Finalist in the Zoetrope Screenwriting Competition and a feature length version of CLEAR BLUE. She's also gained representation from Anonymous Content as a Writer/Director.
