I like the AHD because of the H264 codec that natively plays in XBOX and is 4X more efficient in compression (2 hours on 4meg SD). I got this (yesterday) mainly for the optics and the stereo sound, before I realized the (older?) format was limited (2mb for 16 minutes!!!). Is it difficult to transfer it to H264 codec?... and what issues are there...sorry I'm a nubee...but native H264 seems a lot friendlier...
