I'm primarily a still photographer using video slideshows as a new medium to showcase my work. I have lived, worked and played in and around the boreal forest of northwestern Ontario for the last 35 years. The landscape and wildlife of this area has inspired much of my work over those years. Also known as the Taiga the boreal forest exists as a nearly continuous belt of coniferous forests across North America and Eurasia. On average over a thousand miles wide this belt makes up the largest single terrestrial ecosystem on the planet.
