Sharron Lovell is currently based between UK and Shanghai.
Sharron spent recent years working as a freelance photographer mainly in China. It’s stories rather than single images that interest Sharron most, and she has covered a number of issues in China from HIV/Aids, Islam and internal migration. Outside China she has completed assignments on Afghanistan’s first elections and the commercial sex caste in Pakistan. Her work has featured in publications by National Geographic, The Guardian, Le Monde, Newsweek, Global Post, and Politiken along with recent UNICEF campaigns. Commercial Clients include HSBC, Cartiere del Garda & Nike
Sharron is represented by Polaris in New York and Shoot The Earth in the UK. She completed a degree in Photography and a Masters degree in International Photojournalism & Documentary.
