A BAFTA Cymru-nominated, broadcast-credited director, I have been actively screenwriting and short film-making since I left school (where my interest was first piqued when supervising basic digital short film production with fellow classmates using a mini-dv camera and a simple edit system). I went on to study Film and Video at the International Film School, Wales, obtaining a 2:1 honours degree in 2006.
Served as a first assistant director and subsequently a co-producer on the short film TUESDAY'S GIRL, directed by BAFTA Cymru nominee Matt Brown.
-2010: wrote and directed my first professional short film, WW2 thriller VIVE LA FRANCE. Ran workshops with child actors and directed the film in two foreign languages (French and German)
- 2011: was one of six directors chosen for this year's It's My Shout scheme (in association with BBC), where I directed the short film EDNA'S BENCH in August. It was broadcast on BBC2 Wales in November of 2010, and was nominated for a 2011 BAFTA Cymru award in the Best Short Form category.
- Completed direction of my third professional short film, zombie drama FAMILY FIRST. Currently in post-production.
- Editor on music video For Science Bastard's A DIFFERENT SAME, directed by BAFTA-Cyrmu nominated director Matt Brown.
