Based in Southern California
I tell stories with video – for media companies, corporations, executives, artists, musicians, and for my own enjoyment. With more than two decades in both news and PR, I’ve spent my entire adult life behind a camera – listening, focusing, capturing and creating images that inform, instruct or simply entertain. My interests and experience span the spectrum from conventional corporate videos to creative web content and everything in between.
I spent 12 years as a news cameraman and editor at KCAL-TV Channel 9 News in Los Angeles (obligatory award name-dropping ahead) where I won some Emmy awards and Golden Mikes. I’ve also worked with global public relations agencies creating short films, profiles, interviews, testimonials, corporate presentations, annual reports and event coverage for entities large and small.
Don’t let the simplicity of today’s “do-it-yourself” digital technology fool you: the power of video stems from the finely honed art and craft of visual storytelling. And that depends not on the technology, but on the person operating the camera.
