3 months agoDavid McMurray commented on Life in five actsIts great to see serious narrative story shot with the HV20 camera. It looks like "spot light" mode was used. This is most important for image quality. I think it is good to stay with the lens the camera came with and not "add on" with other lens. I personally feel it degrades the image quality. The compositions and camera movement are good. The interiors seem "too bright". You can light the characters and keep the light off of the background, it will help to direct a viewers eye to the action. I say that mainly because I was not sure in some of the shots if it was a day interior or night interior.

3 months agoDavid McMurray commented on Second flight with trex 600 & hv30Shoot with a wide angle lens, that is the normal thing done for helicopter shoots. You may want to experiment with a small "damping" rig, basically mini-shocks, maybe from a hobby store, the shocks used for RC cars. Something that keeps the camera from being "hard bolted" to the helicopter.
