Halleck Cui was born in Shanghai in 1990, and grew up in San Diego since he was 4 years old. He developed a passion for drawing portraits, painting landscapes, and surfing the waves of Southern California. He is currently finishing his BFA in 3D environment design at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco.
