1 month agoPaul Gremley commented on 1080p supported on YouTube (and Smugmug)Hmmm, interesting... that orchid video played okay ... because it was really 720p at 2mbps even though the video was watermarked 1080p (4mbps). Since YT added the 1080p/720p option choice on their HD button last week, this video shows only the 720 choice.

Occasional video hobbyist who enjoys shooting but hates carrying all the equipment I want to use. Likes editing (for about the first 15 minutes.) Dislikes rendering, encoding, converting, burning, archiving and uploading.
Can't stand music added to videos for no good reason and obscuring original sound. Hates choppy playback, buffering and Flash.
But, oddly enough, LOVES Vimeo. Go Figure!
