A graduate of ISER (Buenos Aires, Argentina), Martin Cappelletti spent his 20s working on advertisements and live television shows.
He developed successful factual formats for FTAs in Argentina and National Geographic Channel. His work won him recognition and a number of award nominations. He also filmed advertisements for Toyota, Radio 10, Mega 98.3 and Autocredito. In 1999 , Cappelletti was honored by the FundTV foundation and Unicef for “Digital Conspiracy”. During the same year he also directed his first documentary series, “Odyssey”, which was filmed in Ushuaia (the most southern city in the world).
In 2002, Martin moved to Spain in order to gain experience in the European TV market. He collaborated with the most important media companies, such as, Planeta, Prisa and Vertice360. During 2005, Martin created “Cuarto Milenio”, a factual show focused on untold histories, terror tales, and real life mysteries. The show is still being aired leading the late night slot every Sunday. In 2007, Cappelletti adapted the British TV program, “Brainiac” , for the Spanish network “Cuatro”. The show was highly successful and was nominated for the Zapping award as “Best Entertainment Show”.
Since 2008, Cappelletti is the Executive Producer for Fox International Channels Iberia where he is on charge of contents development and the European production.
In 2009 Martin become member of the Spanish Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. He strongly believes that telling good stories is the key for success.
