As a storyteller, Mark Schimmel's work is conceptually driven supported by images that communicate with emotion. Schimmel’s ability to frame moments of ordinary with warmth and spontaneity allow him to create a new approach to traditional subjects. Thus his work continues to reinvent itself. Schimmel’s many distinctions are complimented by his ability to draw his own shooting boards and provides a space for the actors and crew to perform at their very best.
