The Luxury began playing in the summer of 2005, headlining Boston clubs from their inception and releasing the critically acclaimed "This Is Why We Can’t Have Nice Things" in February 2007.

The album went straight to the CMJ charts upon its distribution in April of 2007, debuting as the 13th most added disc in the nation. In Boston, the group continues to put together some of the best shows in the area with the very best of Boston’s huge talent pool and fill clubs accordingly, and Dunn has been nominated Best Vocalist a total of 4 times, by the Boston Phoenix, WBZ-TV, and The Noise.
