Chris Emmons is a young director, screenwriter, and musician. Growing up in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, he started making films in 3rd grade. He also began his classical music training at this time, and started playing in rock bands soon after. In his last 2 years of high school, he got nearly half of his class to participate in a film he wrote, which helped him get accepted into the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. During his time in college he wrote, directed, produced, edited, and scored 2 feature films, "Beneath the Horizon (2009)," and "Shine Baby Shine (2010)." He has made numerous short films, including "Penitence," which was an official selection of the 2012 Wildwood Film Festival in Wisconsin, and "Marked Man (2013)," official selection of the 2013 San Diego Black Film Festival. Chris also plays bass guitar in indie-folk band "Heartland Wails." His talents have landed him jobs working as a writer, director, cinematographer, composer, and editor across the globe.
