Friends of Turtle Island seeks to build relationships with Indigenous people, support Native sovereignty, challenge racism and promote social and environmental healing. Our first film, "The Unfractured Future," brings Native voices to the forefront of an urgent issue in New York State. The natural gas extraction process known as hydraulic fracturing threatens our water and our children's future. This short film urges all to join the river of opposition to hydrofracking and envision an unfractured future together. It offers perspectives rarely heard in mainstream media.
