Hi. James Hooey here.

I've been many things in my life....an avid skateboarder and rockclimber in my adolescence...a practicing musician playing gigs and learning my chops....studied recording engineering in college and lived in Toronto selling studio recording equipment and producing independent releases....and now taking all my past experiences in creativity, high energy and technical knowledge I use the world of video as my muse for expression and life experience.

I own and operate Sound Pro Studios. My company creates videos and music for weddings, event, promotional marketing, documentaries and stock footage. Future endevors are also in the works to begin in the world of short story screenplays.

I love the challenges that the world of imagemaking involves, just like the love of music and audio gave me a wonderful learning evironment for well over two decades.

My favorite quote (my own I think...) is "If I'm not learning something I'm bored). And that's me in a nutshell. Someone who loves adventure (I may not rockclimb much now, but just watch me surf in my kayak!!) and is always trying to squeeze as much information into his head as it's shape and size will allow before it starts dribbling back out.
