    thanks for that ian, i was a bit worried that it was just my bad fortune.... i hope that getting compatibility is a high priority - there's an ever growing number of people i know with mobile devices, especially pads.... good luck with it!

    thanks for the quick response mark - much appreciated. this is happening on a toshiba thrive tablet running android 2.3. have no problems with other video sites in the default browser? i can happily play mp4's as well as flash. all very strange.

    hi, i can view video on many sites, incl youtube, but for some reason i can't view anything on vimeo - i simply get a black screen. does anyone know why this might be - we bought the toshiba thrive to showcase our videos, both on and off line, but hopefully it's something we're overlooking? thanks.
