Elias Antonopoulos – nickname "Andeli ®", was born in March 1962 in Athens Greece. He is married and has two children.
He graduated (1979) from Business School of "Sivitanidios" as an assistant of Microbiological Laboratories. He then studied at T.E.I. of Chalkis, holding degrees in Business Administration / Marketing and Accounting (through school rate) in 1984. He then served his military service (Army) specializing N.I.S. / O.A.S. (1985-1987)
After his dismissal from military service, he continued his studies in A.S.O.E.E. (Athens University of Economics) with specialization Statistics / Computer Science, while studying and EL.KE.PA. as a programmer / Analyst / Computers
He worked for five years in Computer Data Center of O.S.E. (Hellenic Railways Organization) for 2 years and then at the Ministry of Public Order (3 years) from where he resigned voluntarily to pursue a career in the private sector in a well-known multinational company as a Programmer / Analyst Systems / Computer to ... tighter financial rewards.
He was for a considerable time with important distinctions an athlete of cycling at a professional level in a famous cycling club of “Panathinaikos” in Athens.
At the same time along with his friend M. Zeimbler he worked as a D.J. in several famous clubs in Athens while periodically broadcast music on the airwaves like music producer.
Alongside he began traveling mainly by motorcycle in Greece and abroad (Europe & Asia)
In November of 1989 he began broadcasting legally in the unknown, then FM radio station «Galaxy 92 FM" Athens. His acquaintance with one of the then owners of the Radio Station of Galaxy 92, Mr. Costas Orphanides was a catalyst and he began broadcasting for three years ('90-'92) a 3 hours daily show as a radio producer.
He then worked for many years in large multinational companies and held positions.
He speaks and writes pretty good English and German, also speaks to a satisfactory extent (due to travel) Bulgarian, Italian.
When he has the time he is involved in various extreme sports like parapente, rafting, Rappel, Trekking etc.
He was and is an active board member in many motorcycle clubs such as: Africa Twin Club of Southern Greece, BMW Riders Club of Greece, European BMW Union Clubs, LE.MO.T. Athens, Moto Club Greek Tourists.
He is a great connoisseur of world geography and generally well aware of the areas he has visited or he is planning to explore.
The last 30+ years has traveled to 63 countries (67% of the countries of the world) and travels mostly by motorcycle, and at regular intervals as an "Adventure Endurance Rider – Freelancer Photographer – Journalist – Travel Writer" has published several essays and travel articles and has "loaned" enough travel documents - test rides and photos for Greece and abroad in magazines (Cosmos, Oxygen, GEO, MOTO, 2 Wheels, Rider, 0-300, etc.) and newspaper (The News, Nation, Eleftherotypia ...) which have included articles on the special editions (inset) quite well known names in travel journalism.
Unfortunately many times in his travel stories was Clopywrite (plagiarism) and many cunning "hijacked" his articles.
For 3 years he was the Director of Photography of the bilingual magazine "DEEP BLUE" (Free magazine Travel & Life Style "Deep Blue") in cooperation with NGTO (E.O.T.)
He is the "official photographer" of the relay Motorcycle Blood Donor Department of Ministry Health - Welfare and Social Solidarity and associate images of the form of "Blood and Volunteering."
In 1998 he was honored with a plaque by BMW Motorrad as "the tighter Travelling by motorcycle BMW» for his trip in Patagonia Tierra del Fuego.
In recent years he covers considerable photographic motorcycle events in Greece / abroad or accompanying motorcycle groups (clubs) events / attractions abroad, and wrote in "demand" travel guides....
