Cristina Picchi (Lucca, 1981) is an Italian documentary filmmaker and writer based in London.
As a filmmaker she has directed and edited the documentaries Fragments of a Dream (2011), Under Your Skin (2011), The Disassociated (currently in post-production) and Tobacco Dock (2010). Her films have been screened in festivals and galleries such as the London International Documentary Film Festival and the National Portrait Gallery of London.
Her written work includes short stories and contributions to award-winning books.
She holds a degree in European Literature from the University of Pisa and and a master's degree in Screen Documentary from Goldsmiths University.
