Bleepstreet since 1998 / 8-bit data-futurism on vinyl happy groove destruction
Bleepstreet likes 8-bit technology and groovy, filthy and raw data action. After a few years break
Bleepstreet is now back to go beyond 8-bit machines as gimmicks. We make gritty electro, playful
pop, slow harsh beats, techno, data rock, breakcore and so on, and we don’t see computers as mere
slaves under our control. The soundchip of a C-64 is a beast that cannot be fully tamed!

With our new music programs and hardware modifications, Bleepstreet aims at showcasing what
über nostalgic videogame nerds don’t. Live performances with real-time generated music, DJ-sets
with the funkiest floppy music, VJs with the hottest megapixels, workshops for the interested, lec-
tures for the academics, audiovisual chill-out sessions for the psychonauts, or maybe showing you
some highlights of the strange demoscene subculture.
