Constance Hasapopoulos has wide and varied experiences in theatre and film having studied acting at the University of Minnesota, received her film degree at New Mexico State University, founded a children's theatre in New Mexico, and produced/directed/acted for stage and film for many years.
Since moving to the Bay Area four years ago, Ms. Hasapopoulos has acted on screen as Ivy, in Damage (Sonoma FF), as Pinky in Doggie Boogie (Sept. 2012 theatrical release) as well as other commercial and indie films here and in the Southwest.
Ms. Hasapopoulos discovered a love for writing later in life with "Eyes Of A Child," in which she also had a supporting role. The film, directed by daughter Delphine de St. Paer, garnered an Eastman Kodak Gold Medal for Best Director and was showcased at the 2005 Cannes FF.
Additionally, produced films from her screenplays and/or scripts have been finalists at Boston Motion Picture Awards, Final Draft International Competition, Reel Women FF of Beverly Hills and a recipient of the LOLA writing award, NMSU. Currently, she divides her time between the two creative disciplines with an equal passion for both.
