I have a life-long passion for good food being a consumer of organic products long before it was trendy. I have a passion for education about nutrition and the impact of making good food choices starting early in life. I have a passion for cooking; food is essential, food can be healing, eating great food prepared with love can be compared to a spiritual experience where your body isn't left behind. Eating in community, cooking at home, keeping it simple, organic, sustainable, and delicious is my menu for the future. An experienced community organizer (worked for a U.S. Senator as campaign staff) I've formed a sister earth institute with Northwest Earth Institute and am involved in grassroots, small group education about food and environmental sustainability using their outstanding course guides.
