Douglas Brown
Doug Brown has over 20 years experience as graphic designer, video editor and multimedia producer at the Los Angeles Times and as a freelance contractor. Doug has a strong skill set in Final Cut Pro, the Adobe Creative Suite, including After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, and the MS Office Suite, focusing on PowerPoint. He's produced television and movie ads, internal and external corporate communications, live public events, websites, publications and presentations. His work has won multiple awards, including a 2008 Webby award, the INMA award for Readership Promotion, and the L.A. Times Marketing Innovation award.
His production work has been seen on movie screens throughout Southern California as well as local television, saving the Los Angeles Times tens of thousands of dollars by producing the spots in-house. His graphic design work has been featured in the marketing efforts of the Hearst Ranch launch of its new winery and tasting room near Hearst Castle.
