After first emerging in 2009 with sultry summer reworkings of Bag Raiders’ “Turbo Love”, The Lowbrows’ “Dream In The Desert”, Toecutter’s “Best Party Ever”, The C90s “Shine a Light” and the duo truly came into their own when they produced Crave you with Giselle Rosselli.
They capped off their breakout year with a well-deserved SMAC Award nod for “Best Song of 2010”, a Kitsune Maison Release, and finish inside the top 20 tracks on Australia's biggest radio poll; Triple J's Hottest 100 2010. Touring 35 shows across Europe & two Japanese tours.
Flight Facilities have also added Holy Ghost!, “Wait & See” & a beautiful summer vibe remix of Cut Copy's single 'Take me over' to the their remix catalogue.
The sophomore single Foreign Language featuring Jess Higgs on vocals was released to July 2011 and gained support from BBC Radio 1, Triple J and Radio Nova in France..
French director Dimitri Basil, captured the 70's inspired video clip which has since been nominated for 'Best Video Clip' by Vimeo.
In early 2012, Flight Facilities successfully toured USA selling out the majority of the 24 shows.. Including appearances at SXSW & Miami Music Conference.
Their 3rd single is due any moment with a collaboration with Grovesnor (drummer from Hot Chip). Look out for the animated film clip.
