Lori Landay, Associate Professor of Cultural Studies at Berklee College of Music, is a new media artist and interdisciplinary scholar exploring the making of visual meaning in twentieth- and twenty first-century American culture. She is the author of two books: I Love Lucy (published 2010 wsupress.wayne.edu/books/802/I-Love-Lucy) and Madcaps, Screwballs, and Con Women: The Female Trickster in American Culture (upenn.edu/pennpress/book/1089.html), and articles on virtual worlds, digital narrative, silent film, I Love Lucy, and other topics. Her creative work includes creative documentary, digital video, web design, virtual art installations, and music video. She is also L1Aura Loire in Second Life, and L1 Loire in Craft, Joykadia, ReactionGrid, the Education Grid, and other virtual worlds.
