3 months agoJeff Snyder commented on JD-1 Melody Testyes, that's the main idea of the MantaMate - frees you from using a computer when controlling synthesizers with the Manta and some other USB devices. You will be able to program it for more advanced functionality by plugging it into a computer and uploading new settings to it, which will then be remembered when the computer is disconnected.

Jeff Snyder is a composer and instrument designer currently living in New Jersey. He owns the electronic musical instrument company Snyderphonics, which makes the Manta - a touch controller for audio and video. He is also the Technical Director of the Princeton University Electronic Music Studios, and the Associate Director of the Princeton Laptop Orchestra. He makes electro-country music under the name Owen Lake, with his band the Tragic Loves.
