My roots lie somewhere between the industrial lowlands of Holland and the world of Art. Regarding the latter as a stand-in conception for whatever we associate with "paradise" or "home" I like exploring the different habitats of our species for traces of this approach. The "lost chord", memories of "childhood" or the simple "pursuit of happiness" - whatever linguistic access we wish to characterize our endeavors with, it all seems to boil down to what mankind has focused on since they chose to go on two legs rather than four: Returning to the promised land, wherever that is, and however successful the journey.
This manifests in the most diverse notions of reality. I try to highlight some of them.
