I was born in Oslo, Norway, 1975. At the age of 20, I moved to England to study art and lived there four years, three of which in London. In the year 2000 I graduated as a Bachelor of Arts at the Camberwell College of Arts, the London Institute. I had wanted to be a cartoonist and animator, but life drove me on to go and live in Mexico for the following four years. During that time, I kept returning to Norway every spring to take private exams at the University of Oslo, graduating in 2004 with a master degree in the History of Religions, specializing in Hinduism and Old Norse mythology. (My thesis, "The Maiden with the Mead - a Goddess of Initiation in Old Norse Myths" was published as a book in 2009). I was planning to take a PHD degree and applied for a scholarship while living for one year in Portugal where I was writing a book. During that time, I did a lot of research on Ancient Mystery Cults and started to develop an understanding that Old Norse myths reflect a genuine pagan Scandinavian Mystery tradition. At the same time, so many things happened in my personal life that again, I took a new turn. As I returned to Norway after ten years of near-exile, I started studying to become a Rosen Method practitioner. Yes, I have three educations and I have been at it for fifteen years...! And it may seem like three very different kinds of educations but they were all important to me and all seem to come together. I am happy now working as a bodywork therapist, at the same time my academic research and artist background are surfacing on a very important hobby level as I am making movies for Youtube -and, hopefully, for Vimeo. And there will be books, and perhaps there will be real movies one day...and if you do have the means to help me we may come to an understanding...
