Koosuke IRKT Ikeda is a mixed media artist and a short film director. he resides and works in New York City. IRKT [i-ru-ku-to][individual relative K(c)ontradiction theory] is his conceptual design for his artistry, logo and project name to pursue his creations.
He desire to pursue the concept of the "self", exposing the contradictions which exist internally and externally, and to ascertain piece by piece elements that define one’s raison d’être by combining digital medial with traditional materials. His work has been featured not only in galleries around the world, but also in showrooms and fashion show.
