Neoneight Creative Director Kelman Greig, has over fourteen years experience across the creative industries as a designer, composer, editor and producer.
Having graduated with a Masters in Multimedia Technology from Napier University he went on to work in the publishing world starting with Future Publishing as CD editor, developing the first monthly interactive interface for Future Music magazine.
From there he became a freelance flash designer for numerous companies in the early part of the millennium, creating work for companies such as Wedgwood, Harley Haddow and within the e-learning technology department at Edinburgh University.
By 2003 Kelman set up the independent record label ‘Yummi Records’ working with various artists and musicians in Scotland, as well as writing and producing work for his own solo project, ‘Mangomad’. This work lead to a multitude of openings within the music industry from TV music production and licensing to international live performances, the highlight being the Sziget ’06 Festival in Budapest.
Today, through Neoneight, Kelman Greig draws upon this vast portfolio of professional experience, closely working with companies and charities such as Hearts & Minds, Flummix and theatre company Plutot La Vie, to create a visual world that aims to be clear, impactful and above all, cheap as chips.
