    If you change the preview settings, (right above the Preview window in Vegas), from "Best" to "Preview", it will reduce the choppiness. In each individual setting; Draft, Preview, Good, Best: you can further adjust with "Auto, Full, Half, Quarter". A preview setting like "Best/Full" would be much more choppy versus "Preview/Auto".

    Did the Aiptek/mov files work with Sony Vegas 9 or did you have to convert to a different format first?

    Vegas Pro 8 will crash with the mov files.
