Miss Nancy Minds Their Manners is a documentary film being made by Martha Weeks Daniel of Rocky Mount, NC and Caroline Rumsey Paxton of Wilson, NC. Both are graduates of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Daniel. a graphic and website designer as well as filmmaker, received her certificate in Documentary Studies from Duke in 2007. Paxton has headed her own corporate video production company for more than 15 years. Together, they have done all the filming and a majority of the editing of this film, as well as handle the fundraising to help finish this film with the production values they so passionately believe it deserves.
More than 4 years now in the makings, Martha and Caroline believe this documentary about a remarkable woman and her "House Parties for Etiquette for Young Ladies and Gentlemen" tells a timeless, humorous and heartfelt story about how being unselfish, kind and being good to others is important for everyone.
