Sam Rowland hails from Newcastle in North East England where during the long dark winters cinemas would provide the only shelter from strong Arctic winds.

He studied at Art College then graduated with honours in Multimedia Design from Northumbria university in 2006. His films have been featured on Al Jazeera, as part of a TED talk, in Vogue and The Guardian.

He love lamp too.
