Meagan brings a diverse and creative background to all her endeavors. Born and raised on a cattle ranch in Montana, her wandering nature took her to Gonzaga University where she double majored in Theater Arts and Journalism, graduating with honors.
A proud member of both SAG and AFTRA, she not only works in front of the camera but also behind producing, directing, and writing. Meagan can currently be seen questioning George Clooney as an American airlines flight attendant in Jason Reitman's Oscar-nominated "Up in the Air". She has also appeared in independent films including Ty Jones's award-winning "Last Breath", Patrick Rea's "Now That You're Dead" and television shows such as "The Playbook".
Meagan has worked across the country as a commercial actor and print model appearing in ad campaigns for clients such as Hallmark, Sprint, UMB Bank, Colgate, Applebee's and Sonic Drive-Ins. Her voiceover talents can be heard on the radio and websites for clients such as Blue Cross Blue Shield, UMB Bank and Hill's Pet Food.
In addition to her work in front of the camera, Meagan is a Regional EMMY award-winning producer (Mid-America Region 2009) as well as director. Her producing career kicked off with a bang and an Emmy on the nationally recognized web series, "The Unreal Housewives of Kansas City" for which she served as one of three executive producers.
After the success of Housewives, Meagan founded Smart Mouth Productions LLC. Smart Mouth envisioned and executive produced the comedic web series "The Wingman." She next joined forces with up and coming filmmaker Nicholas E. Vedros to produce and star in the dramatic short, "Adrift." She also collaborated with Emmy award winning producer, Jennifer Plas, and producers Shaun Cloud and Pamela Leibbert to produce the short film, "The Playdate."
With "The Wingman" Meagan branched into directing taking command behind the camera for Episodes 1 and 3. She further stretched her directing talents with the short, "Always Come Home" which she also wrote and executive produced. She most recently wrote, directed and produced the short, "The Etiquette of Impotence" which is now in post-production .
In addition to film, she also directs children's theater productions most recently serving as assistant director for the musical, "Suessical" and director for a middle school version of "All Shook Up". For her diligent work in the Kansas City Film community she was selected as one of Ingram's Magazine's 20 in their 20s in 2010. She currently serves on the board of directors for Kansas City's Women In Film organization.
