The Yijala Yala Project is a long-term, multi artform project working with the Indigenous people of Roebourne, in the Pilbara, WA.
Big hART is Australia’s highest producing and most critically acclaimed arts and social change company. Since its foundation in 1992, Big hART has worked with over 6,500 individuals in 42 communities, presenting 16 major professional works to high acclaim in over 10 Australian festivals. The success of Big hART’s work has been recognised by many awards including a Sidney Myer Performing Arts Group Award, 8 COAG Awards for Violence Prevention and a Deadly Award.
