1 week agoBen Dansie commented on Cycles render of Bird EarringsCheers. It took about 1 minute 20 per frame on a gtx 470 to do 1000 passes. This was while mental ray was making full use of the cpu for another render job.

Yup, new version coming. Day job was getting quite busy for a while - which a good thing - but hopefully I'll be able to polish up this and a few other things to share like the lens flare 'setup' in the near-ish future.
Of course, this post is dated so I might look like an idiot a couple of months from now... -
