Bruce Odland
Composer, Sound Artist, sonic thinker. His work with Sam Auinger (under the name O+A) tunes and transforms the sonic identity of public space. He has collaborated with Laurie Anderson, The Wooster Group, Peter Sellars, Wallace Shawn, Andre Gregory, Dan Graham, Tony Oursler, and many others. After training as a composer and conductor he became a pioneer in the emerging field of sound installations, sound design and sound art and helped to redefine the role of sound in theatre, art, and museum exhibition. His "Sounds from the Vaults" for the Field Museum changed the paradigm of interactivity in Museums and won the Golden Muse award.
