hey doug beatty. Does the Rode VC1 do a good job without distortion, buzz or hum INSIDE a building?

wait, I've heard that the rode VC1 doesn't do a good job at protecting the audio from hum and buzz.
But this video proves otherwise.

Alsos. Did you have the "Mic ATT" thing turned on or off. I really need help with this.

hi. I just bought the hv30 and the smx-10. Your smx-10 isn't making much motor noise compared to mine. I can hear ALOT of hiss with mine. Even when it isn't mounted right on top of the camera. There were times when I just took the mic of the hot shoe, and just held it with my hand over my subjects like a boom, and when I listened to it, I could hear so much hiss. I had headphones plugged in too.
