The Kensington is a 7 in 1 Media reader that fits in the X1 express slot. You then place a SanDisk Ultra II 15mb/s 16 gig card into the reader. Wala a 16 gig card for your X1. Format and you are ready to go. So far I have done this and never had any issues. Your mileage may vary. For me when I am doing a long event it is the only way to record 2 hrs. without breaking the bank.

Thanks Brett. I agree that WB yellow seems to make the whites white and blues jump. Just discovered how to use the Kensington 7 in 1 with a 16 g SD card work with the X1. 16g for total cost of $100.00 US. Cheers

Hey Brett did you crank up the sharpness as well?
Are you manipulating other settings i.e crispening? Also would love to know workflow from FCP do you edit on a prores timeline or other? deinterlace? sorry just a bug up my but to improve. We work on it everyday.
