More interested in creativity and concept exploration than the aesthetics of performance per se. I would much rather work on learning something new only to leave it behind immediately after accomplishing it and work on something else than to keep at the same maneuver until it becomes second nature. The kind of repetition required to attain an extremely high degree of consistency bores the hell out of me. Along the way of course, some movements seems to stick more than others and a natural 'style' may be seen to emerge but, the hope is always to break new ground. For that reason I would always rather work on new things (even if it makes me look like I can't do much) than merely "show-off" something that became easy for me to do in the past.
