Nomas Foundation is a mobile, flexible organism, capable of taking in differences as a value to be fostered and promoted. Created out of the personal experience of a collection, the Foundation has embarked on an experimental form of activity and, on a case-by-case basis, it assesses the sustainability of “nomadic” projects. The spatial axis around which the Foundation revolves is not necessarily its Rome headquarters, for it can be any site that hosts the projects that Nomas supports. Mobility is a key factor behind its experimentation, opportunities, cultural interchange, and research.
