MO-AM Masters was founded by BJ Balogun in 2002.

Full Synopsis

BJ has been in the entertainment industry as a producer for over 10 years, and was previously known as a British rap artist called ‘Overlord X’.

After an infamous rap career ended in the Nineties, BJ then went on to create an RnB boy band called ‘Benz’ that signed to RCA, released 4 hit singles, and toured with ‘Take That’ and the Backstreet Boys (1995-97).

BJ started to outgrow the passion for being a pop artist, but he continued on as a producer/ writer, and created MO-AM Masters.

MO-AM started off as a music production company working with artist’s such as Big Brovaz, Blue, Beverly Knight, Tommi/ FAT, Martine McCutcheon, Craig David, So Solid to name a few. After joining forces with Zomba publishing: MO-AM Music publishing was born.

In 2004 MO-AM Filmz was created to feed the ever growing demand of low budget, quality videos and films for broadcast.

MO-AM is slowly developing with additional members: in-house Production crew, Directors and Editors have to date produced over sixty music promos, three commercials, one feature film, a pilot comedy sitcom called 'The Bredrinz', a documentary for the European Union, a comic series for the Wandsworth Empowerment Network, and two corporate features for the NHS and the Metropolitan Police…

Multimedia company Cellcast commissioned, and re-commissioned two factual entertainment shows for Sky broadcast from MO-AM:

'Sumo Unsigned' profiled unsigned talent, and formed an online community of bands and musicians, who were motivated to create and send in video clips that were selected for broadcast.

‘Rimz’ was about underground modified car culture. This show also influenced modified car owners to create and send in their fanatical clips.

MO-AM Masters has steadily built up a respectable name in multi-media including graphic design, motion graphics, web design, photography, and 3D animation.

MO-AM are still on the lookout for future people to work with. The incredible journey of MO-AM continues with the steady growth of MO-AM Models and the MO-AM Education.
