Hello I am Gaby and I am a passionate music lover. Favourites are classical music especially chamber music, baroque music, (strings, lute, guitar), flamenco and world music. I play cello and classical guitar. Started recently with cajon and tabla. And I sing classical music.
Favourite composers are: Marais, Bach, Biber, de Saint Colombe, Johannes Schenck, Robert de Visee and Barrios.
My dreams concerning music are:
- to succeed in making a nice sound on my cello (I still sound like a beginner after several years of practice)
- once play on a viola da gamba
- once play on a lute
- once buy a nice baroque guitar
In the meantime I enjoy the very nice music (on CD and video) that other people play and are willing to share. (Thank you ernst stolz).
And yes I am one of that dinosaurs who still BUY cd's instead of downloading them. I love the booklets and artworks of cd's as well, want to see pictures of the musicians, read something about the composers, etcetera.
