Seventh Generation - Think about your choices!

We, a couple from Germany, are currently meeting and interviewing people who are visionaries and idealists who really contribute to a future where ecological values are a more central concern.

Our goal is to raise awareness and provide information regarding these people and their projects. We want to achieve that you also discover the importance and joy in actively engageing. We also want to emphazise the neccessity of a change in our daily lives and our way of thinking. Our slogan is "think about your choices": you can choose in your everyday decisions what influence you have.

We already started conducting interviews with people from various backgrounds, working in the fields of society, science, ecology, economy, spirituality or politics. Among our first interview partners were Yvon Chouinard, founder of Patagonia Inc. and Karl-Ludwig Schweisfurth, pioneer of ecological agriculture in Germany. Next interviewees will be David de Rothschild, Hannes Jaenicke, David Holmgren and Douglas Tompkins, among others. The interviews and documentations about their projects in research and science and active protection of nature and wildlife will be published on seventh-generation.de. The content will inform, give food for thoughts, motivate and inspire. There will be suggestions of concrete steps you can take in your daily life.

Seventh Generation is derived from the Great Law of Peace of the Iroquois that states: "In our every deliberation, we must consider the impact of our decisions on the next seven generations."
