    No it wasn't giving me the option to choose from any thumbnails OR upload my own screenshots. But I found the solution: it's a flaw with the New Vimeo. I switched back to the old Vimeo version temporarily, and in the old version there was no problem. I uploaded a couple thumbnails and then switched back to the newer Vimeo version.
