AD ASTRA FILMS

Founded in March 2008 by Sébastien AUBERT and David GUIRAUD, AD ASTRA FILMS is a production and distribution company based in Cannes, France. In less than 3 years, AD ASTRA FILMS has become a major regional actor for film production and one of the most recognized international short film distributors.

We develop and support films of all genres by French and international directors, from the scriptwriting to the promotion in festivals. The company owns a very selective catalogue composed of awarded short films sold to first rank TV channels (Canal +, France 2, France 3, RTP2...).

We are constantly looking for new films to produce or distribute, and regularly take part to renowned international film festivals such as Cannes, Berlin, Abu Dhabi, etc.

Our last production, The Strange Ones (aka “Deux Inconnus”), was selected in official competition at Sundance and Clermont-Ferrand Film Festival.

We are not only supervising films forcinema, but also producing promo-institutional films, as well as commercials for TV and internet.
