Army vet (12 years total), cop for 5+ years....now a network admin (doing half the work for twice the pay).

I learned to drift in (believe it or not) a 1990 Skyline GT-R.
I got a Foxbody Mustang to drift because I didn't want to push the GT-R into a wall, and wanted to do something different than all the rest of the drifters. Sure, I catch hell from the kids, but I don't care. I toss that huge beast around just as hard and fast as their little 240's.

Yea, I learned to not bother recording anything the first half of the day...I always suck, and then when I finally get into the groove my camera batteries are dead. :D

1st run and 3rd run look great!
I see you've learned the trick with Foxbodies: enough torque and weight that you don't need much countersteer to get good angle.

As a "better than me" driver (who helped me learn to drift) said after driving mine the first time: Dear god, it's not a short wheelbase, but it sure loves to instantly spin out like one!
And I learned last month in Indy that a wet track is damned near IMPOSSIBLE.
Learning to control a Foxbody makes all the kids learning in 240's look like softy wimps. :D

    You both keep it up!
